 Pakistan explained not to display the flags of India and Bangladesh in the stadium

 

 Rows of flags on the roofs of the Gaddafi National Stadium in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi.  There are flags of all the countries participating in the ICC Champions Trophy, but India and Bangladesh are not there.  Such pictures and videos go viral.  There was a storm of criticism on social media.  Many believe that Pakistan decided not to hang the curtain out of anger over India not playing there.  Which does not go with the game of cricket.

 The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given an explanation as to why the Indian flag was not hoisted on Monday (February 17) afternoon.  With a statement, PCB said, you know that India is not coming to Pakistan to play in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.  In that case, Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, National Stadium in Karachi and Rawalpindi Stadium have only the flags of the countries that will play there.

 So why is Bangladesh not kept?  According to the PCB, firstly, the Indian team will play all their matches in Dubai.  Secondly, Bangladesh has not yet reached Pakistan.  They will play their first match against India in Dubai.  That is why the flag of Bangladesh was not hung next to other countries.  So far only the teams that have reached Pakistan have been hoisted.

 ICC Champions Trophy-2025 will kick off with the match between Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19.
